Jane G. Allen

Jane G. Allen has extensive experience in labor relations and mediation, currently serving as a Mediator at the National Mediation Board since June 2015, focusing on labor disputes within the airline and railroad industries. Prior to this role, Jane was a self-employed consultant specializing in labor relations and collective bargaining strategies. Jane held various leadership positions at United Airlines from 2003 to 2008, including Senior Vice President of Human Resources, where responsibilities included labor relations and advising the executive team. Additionally, at American Airlines from 1986 to 2003, Jane served as Vice President of Flight Service and Vice President of Employee Relations, overseeing operations, labor relations, and negotiations. Jane began their career as an attorney at Haynes and Boone, LLP, practicing commercial transaction law. Jane holds a Juris Doctor degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from The Ohio State University.
