Do van der Kolk is currently an Intern at Politie Nederland in the Department of Communication. Prior to this, they have held various positions such as Diversity and Inclusion Officer at the Social Sciences Career Week, Delegate at the National Model United Nations, and Customer Advisor Healthcare at Zilveren Kruis. They are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Sociology at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Additionally, they have experience as a Student Ambassador, Peer Educator, and Chair of the Freshmen Committee, showcasing their dedication to various roles in different organizations.
