Usman Sharif

Usman Sharif has extensive experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Usman most recently worked as a QA Manager at Scan.com, where they played a crucial role in shaping the future of diagnostic imaging. Prior to that, they worked as a Director at Catalyst Software Test Consulting Ltd, where they provided specialist services within digital software. Usman also worked as a Senior QA Engineer at Cutover and as a Senior Software QA Engineer at ZAVA. Before that, they served as a Lead Software Test Engineer at HealthRota Limited, where they made significant contributions to the development of a web-based e-rostering platform for NHS trusts. Usman also has experience as a Senior Test Engineer at Medidata Solutions, a Senior Test Analyst at everis UK, a Software Testing Specialist at Tesco, a Senior QA Test Analyst at Access Group, and a Mobile Functional Test Lead at RS Components. Throughout their career, Usman has consistently demonstrated their expertise in implementing effective testing processes, introducing agile methodologies, and delivering high-quality software solutions.

Usman Sharif completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Physics from King's College London, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Usman then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Physics from the University of Birmingham from 2011 to 2012.

Prior to their university education, Usman attended Ilford County High Sixth Form from 2001 to 2008, where they completed their A Levels. During this time, their field of study is unspecified.

Additionally, Usman obtained several certifications throughout their career. In May 2021, they became a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) through the Scrum Alliance. In September 2016, they achieved the ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst certification from Pearson VUE. Furthermore, Usman obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from The Lean Six Sigma Company in October 2014.
