Gena Hyde

Associate Vice President, Communications at National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS)

Gena Hyde has over 19 years of work experience, primarily in communications and public relations. Gena started their career in 2001 as an Account Coordinator at Moroch, where they developed and executed publicity strategies for major film releases. In 2006, they joined FKM as an Account Manager, where they created media plans and coordinated public relations activities. In 2008, Gena joined the National MS Society as a Regional Director of Communications, where they led the organization's communication efforts in a five-state region. In 2016, they were promoted to Associate Vice President of Communications at the National MS Society. Gena is experienced in developing and implementing strategic communication plans, managing public relations teams, and overseeing media outreach efforts.

Gena Hyde attended Texas State University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication. Gena also studied Mass Communications and Speech Communications during their time at the university and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and Speech Communication.
