Katie Geddes

Katie Geddes is currently a PhD student at the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric and Earth Science and serves as an International Relations Specialist at NOAA, focusing on international collaboration in ocean and climate research. Geddes has held various roles, including a Secondment to UNESCO's Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission, Management Program Analyst at CollabraLink Technologies, and Knauss Marine Policy Fellow at NOAA. With experiences ranging from field organizing for Hillary for America to interning at The White House on environmental projects, Geddes has developed expertise in environmental policy, community engagement, and interdisciplinary research. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Arts in Environmental Anthropology from the University of Maryland.
