Taylor Trogdon is an accomplished meteorologist and atmospheric scientist with extensive experience in weather forecasting and communication. Currently serving as the Deputy Associate Director at the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere since February 2025 and as a Forecast Operations Specialist at the Global Systems Laboratory since October 2020, Taylor manages the Hazard Services project for NOAA NCEP's modernization efforts. Contributions to NOAA as a meteorologist since August 2011 have focused on delivering effective weather information to consumers. Previous roles include General Forecaster at UCAR, Senior Scientist at Cyberdata Technologies, and involvement in impactful research projects aimed at improving weather communication. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Atmospheric Science from Creighton University and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
