Joel Hirschi

Joel Hirschi is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in oceanography, currently holding the position of Associate Head of Marine Systems Modelling at the National Oceanography Centre since 2018. Serving as a Senior Researcher at the same institution since 2001, Joel has led the High Resolution Global Ocean Modelling subgroup since 2011. With a PhD in Physics from the University of Bern, Joel's primary research interest focuses on high resolution modeling of the global ocean.
