Ariel Markowitz-Shulman

Ariel Markowitz-Shulman currently serves as Chief of Staff at the National Organization for Rare Disorders, where responsibilities include strategic planning and management of business processes. Prior experience includes roles such as Associate Director of Strategic Planning at ERPi, leading projects for the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute, and Associate Program Officer at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, managing collaborative efforts in regenerative medicine. Previous positions include Senior Associate at Grant Thornton LLP, Research and Knowledge Translation Analyst at the Defense Centers of Excellence, and various research roles at Children's National Medical Center. Ariel holds a Master of Science in Physiology from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences and Music Performance from Mount Holyoke College.
