Jennifer Knapp

Oregon Volunteer State Ambassador at National Organization for Rare Disorders

Jennifer Knapp serves as the Executive Director of Adrenal Insufficiency United, a position held since 2011, where efforts focus on improving the lives of individuals affected by Adrenal Insufficiency through support, awareness, collaboration with healthcare providers, and funding for research. In addition, Jennifer has been an OREGON Volunteer State Ambassador for the National Organization for Rare Disorders since February 2017, facilitating communication between NORD's staff and constituencies, and contributing to training and educational initiatives. Previous experience includes roles as a Learning Specialist in Springfield Public Schools #19, an Instructional Assistant in Eugene 4J School District, and Center Director at Thurston Hills Early Learning Center. Jennifer holds a Master of Science in Early Intervention and Special Education from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Arts in the same field from Augustana University.
