Katie Wall

Katie Wall is an accomplished educator and program coordinator with a diverse background in outdoor recreation and education. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Program Coordinator at Lees-McRae College since August 2016, Katie oversees programs in Outdoor Recreation Management, Ski Industry Business & Instruction, and Wilderness Medicine & Rescue. Alongside this role, Katie has been an instructor for the NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute and Landmark Learning since 2008. Previous experience includes positions as Outdoor Programs Coordinator at Appalachian State University and Outdoor Recreation Director at the University of South Carolina-Columbia, along with various roles in sales and outdoor education. Katie holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Appalachian State University, an MS in Higher Education from the University of Mississippi, and a BS in Leisure/Sports Management from Elon University.
