Vatsal Tanna

Vatsal Tanna is a Lead Data Scientist at the National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI) since September 2022, where responsibilities include operationalizing real-time data flow for various products and ensuring high availability of data through Kafka and data pipelines. Prior to NPCI, Vatsal served as a Data Engineer at Barclays, focusing on redefining data quality checks and deploying applications on AWS, resulting in significant performance improvements. Vatsal began a career as a Data Scientist at Saathealth, where machine learning models were used to predict user churn and develop recommendation engines, enhancing user engagement. An early experience includes an internship at Collateral Medical Private Limited, developing an image processing prototype using machine learning. Vatsal holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from K. J. Somaiya Institute of Technology.
