Andrew Hastings

Andrew Hastings serves as the Chief Enterprise Officer at the National Philanthropic Trust since January 2002, where responsibilities include advancing the organization's strategic vision and promoting thought leadership. Prior experience includes key roles at American Nonprofits from January 2012 to May 2021, including Chief Development Officer and Vice President positions, and serving as chairman of the board starting in May 2014. Hastings also led the Delaware Association of Nonprofit Agencies as President & CEO from September 1992 to December 2001, guiding it to rapid growth and providing extensive services to nonprofits. Earlier experience includes their role as Program Director at the American Institute for Public Service. Hastings holds a B.A. in Political Science, International Relations, and Economics from Denison University, and has furthered education at the University of Oxford and The Wharton School.
