Tammy Lytle

Tammy Lytle is a seasoned freelance journalist with extensive experience in various notable organizations and publications. Since August 2008, Tammy has contributed to magazines, newspapers, and web news sites, including the Washington Post and AOL News. As a past president and member of the National Press Club, Tammy led one of the nation's largest journalism organizations, managing its $10 million business and numerous committees. Additionally, Tammy served as past president of the Regional Reporters Association, organizing significant professional development events. Previously, Tammy held the position of Washington Bureau Chief at the Orlando Sentinel, where coverage spanned breaking news and political commentary on major networks. Early career achievements included serving as Washington Correspondent for the New Haven Register, providing in-depth coverage of the New Hampshire presidential primary and national stories. Tammy holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy Studies from Trinity College Hartford and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Spanish from Indiana University Bloomington.
