Ev-grid Integration Control And Software Researcher at National Renewable Energy Laboratory

Emin Ucer is an experienced researcher specializing in electric vehicle (EV) grid integration and control systems. Currently serving as an EV-Grid Integration Control and Software Researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since May 2022, Emin previously worked at the same organization from June to August 2021, focusing on optimized charging control algorithms for EV peak reduction. Emin's earlier experience includes a role at TUBITAK SAGE, where work involved testing and performance analysis of Inertial Measurement Units for missile applications, and a short tenure at Aselsan, applying angle of arrival algorithms for rotating radar antennas. Emin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Alabama, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Hacettepe University.
