Carol Scott Leonard

Carol Scott Leonard has an extensive work experience in academia, consulting, and advisory roles. Carol Scott has held positions such as Director of the Center for Russian Studies at the Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Lead Researcher at the Institute for Regional Development and Urban Planning at the National Research University-Higher School of Economics, Professor of Regional Studies, and University Lecturer at various prestigious institutions. Additionally, they have served as a Consultant and Budget Advisor for the US Treasury.

Carol Scott Leonard completed their Bachelor of Arts in Russian Area Studies at the University of Minnesota in 1966. Carol Scott then pursued a Ph.D. in Russian History at Indiana University Bloomington from 1966 to 1974. In 1988 to 1990, they also studied Economics at the California Institute of Technology.
