Angelo Amador has a strong background in legal advocacy and executive leadership. Angelo has served as the Executive Director of the Restaurant Law Center since 2015. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Legal Advocacy & Regulatory Counsel at the National Restaurant Association starting in 2010. Angelo also served as the Executive Director at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce from 2005 to 2010. Before their time at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, they worked as an Attorney and Counselor at Law at Walton & Adams, P.C. from 2003 to 2005.
Angelo Amador holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with Distinction in International and Comparative Law from Georgetown University Law Center. Angelo also obtained a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from George Mason University - Antonin Scalia Law School. In addition, they have a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business and a Master's degree in International Transactions from George Mason University.
Angelo Amador has also earned various certifications, including a Certificate of Leadership & Management from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business and a U.S. Chamber of Commerce Executive Leadership Program Certificate from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. Angelo is also admitted to the Commonwealth of Virginia Bar and the District of Columbia Bar.
