Matt Walker

Matt Walker currently serves as the Vice President of Government Affairs at the National Restaurant Association, a leading global foodservice trade association representing nearly 500,000 restaurant businesses and employing over 15 million individuals with annual sales exceeding $863 billion. Prior experience includes positions as Deputy Staff Director and Chief Counsel for the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, where oversight of the Committee's agenda and support for Senator Snowe occurred, as well as serving as Master Sergeant in the Army National Guard until April 2011. Walker’s legal background includes working as an attorney at Pierce Atwood, focusing on complex litigation, and serving in various staff roles for Senator Olympia Snowe. Educational qualifications consist of a Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Maine.
