Scott Madar

Scott Madar manages the ORCHSE activities within the National Safety Council. Additionally, he leads the Corporate Health Directors Network, co-leads the Western Occupational Safety and Health Network, the European Union Health, Safety and Environment Forum and the Executive Business Issues Forum. He supports ORCHSE members by providing expert advice on HSE issues, conducting surveys on topics of member concern, developing comments on policy and regulatory issues, speaking and visiting member sites upon request. His areas of focus include industrial hygiene, infectious disease, impairment (fatigue, cannabis and opioids) and transportation safety. He is also involved in addressing occupational safety and health management systems, human and organizational performance (HOP) and contractor safety.
