Evan Heit

Evan Heit is a seasoned professional in the field of psychology and engineering, currently serving as Division Director at the National Science Foundation since August 2013, with additional roles including Acting Deputy Assistant Director and Program Director. Prior experience includes a professorship at UC Merced from 2005 to 2018 and a faculty position at the University of Warwick from 1995 to 2005. Evan's academic journey began with postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Michigan and Northwestern University between 1990 and 1995. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Psychology from Stanford University and dual bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Engineering (BSE) and Psychology (BA) from the University of Pennsylvania.
