Jason Stoughton

Jason Stoughton currently serves as a Staff Associate for Science Communications at the National Science Foundation (NSF) since March 2020, specializing in science writing and communications within the Mathematical and Physical Sciences Directorate. Prior to this role, Stoughton held the position of Staff Associate for Strategic Communications at NSF's Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences Directorate. Stoughton's previous experience includes serving as Supervisory Public Affairs Specialist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology from May 2015 to March 2020, and as Creative Director & Video Project Lead at Towne Group, Inc. from 2005 to May 2015. Additional roles include Video Writer/Producer/Director at GEICO, Writer/Producer/Director at cipherworks LLC, and Jr. Film & Video Colorist at Roland House Inc. Stoughton earned a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Theatre Arts from Cornell University.
