John Parker

John Parker is a seasoned academic and researcher with extensive experience in ecological analysis and science policy. Currently serving as a Professor at the University of Oslo since January 2021, John Parker also holds the position of Program Director at the US National Science Foundation, where responsibilities include co-directing funding programs focused on Science and Technology Studies as well as Ethical and Responsible Research. Prior to these roles, John Parker was a Senior Honors Faculty Fellow at Arizona State University from August 2011 to April 2018. John Parker earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sociology from Arizona State University between 2001 and 2006.
