Laraven Temoney Louis

LaRaven Temoney Louis serves as a Political Science Faculty member at Valencia College since August 2023 and holds dual fellowships with the National Science Foundation and Florida Education Fund, focusing on advancing underrepresented groups in STEM and higher education. With experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida and various research internships, LaRaven has actively contributed to political research and education while earning recognition as a McNair Scholar. LaRaven's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in American Politics and Political Methodology, as well as a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida, supplemented by a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from Winthrop University.
