Rev. Kevin G. Nelson Pe, Pls, F.nspe

Rev. Kevin G. Nelson, PE, PLS, F.NSPE has a diverse work experience, which includes roles in civil engineering, land surveying, ministry, and professional organizations. Rev. Kevin G. currently works as a Civil Engineer and Land Surveyor at Mountain Plains LLC, where they market and promotes engineering and surveying services, manages staff, and cultivates client relationships. In addition, Rev. Nelson has served as a Pastor at Peace Lutheran Church in Lincoln, North Dakota since 2011. Rev. Kevin G. has also held positions on professional boards, including the North Dakota Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, where they oversaw licensure and developed rules and policies. Rev. Nelson has been actively involved in professional organizations such as the North Dakota Society of Professional Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers, where they have served in leadership roles. Throughout their career, they have also worked in business development and client management roles at Wenck Associates, Inc. and Larson Engineering. Rev. Nelson's commitment to community service is evident through their involvement on the Board of Directors for both the Missouri Valley Habitat for Humanity and Ulteig. At Ulteig, they also served as a Board of Directors member and as the Associate Vice President for Aviation. Lastly, Rev. Nelson has contributed to the field of engineering on a broader scale as the Assistant Zone Vice President at NCEES, where they assisted in planning meetings and presented on council activities.

Rev. Kevin G. Nelson, PE, PLS, F.NSPE completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering at North Dakota State University from 1981 to 1989. Following this, they pursued their theological studies at Wartburg Theological Seminary, specializing in Lutheran Theological Studies, where they obtained their TEEM degree from 2011 to 2015.
