Stephanie Valencia

Stephanie Valencia currently serves as the Manager for Community Engagement and Programs at the National Society of Professional Engineers since October 2024. Prior to this role, Stephanie held various positions, including Program Manager at The Literacy Lab from December 2021 to June 2024, and Center Director at Higher Achievement from August 2017 to December 2021. Additional experience includes serving as an Americorps Achievement Fellow at Higher Achievement, a Program Instructor at the Close Up Foundation, and an Office Support Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University. Stephanie also worked as a Field Canvasser during the Virginia State Senate Campaign. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government with a concentration in Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness from Virginia Commonwealth University, along with a study abroad experience focused on Hispanic and Latino Immigrant studies at the University of Cordoba.
