Denise Barnes Woodward currently serves as a Medical Device Lead Auditor and Technical Expert at the National Standards Authority of Ireland since July 2017. Prior to this role, Denise managed a team of medical device consultants as Manager, Consultant & Lead Auditor at Century Quality Consulting, LLC from June 2012 to March 2023, ensuring optimal project assignments aligned with the consultants' expertise. Denise has extensive auditing experience, conducting assessments across various certification schemes, including ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003, while also holding roles as a Lead Auditor and Supporting ISO Auditor for multiple organizations. Previously, Denise spent nearly 20 years at Becton Dickinson, focusing on compliance, quality engineering, and improving quality audit programs. Denise holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agricultural Economics & Marketing from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
