Head Of ICT Business Analysis at National Treasury Management Agency

Mark Edge has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Mark began their career at AIB Capital Markets as a Bank Official in 1997. From there, they worked as a Software Developer at AIB Capital Markets and First-e Internet Bank, gaining experience in various development languages and database systems.

In 2001, Mark joined AIB Investment Managers as a Senior Software Developer, focusing on VB.NET, Visual Basic 6.0, and XML Scripting. Mark then moved to AIB Group Operations & Technology, where they held the position of Senior Business Analyst. This role involved managing projects such as the External & Strategic Reporting Programme and the PLAR Project.

In 2005, Mark transitioned to AIB Capital Markets once again, taking on the role of Business Analyst. Here, they contributed to projects such as the Market Risk Project and the Liquidity Reporting Project, working closely with both business and technical stakeholders.

Since 2013, Mark has been working at the National Treasury Management Agency as the Head of ICT Business Analysis. Mark leads the Business Analysis team, collaborating with various agencies under the NTMA.

Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated a strong understanding of business requirements and has played a key role in implementing various IT solutions to support project goals and regulatory compliance.

Mark Edge attended the Irish Management Institute from 2019 to 2020, where they completed the High Impact Leadership Programme. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Business Studies at Ulster University. Additionally, in November 2015, they obtained a certification as a Prince2 Practitioner from PRINCE2 Professional.
