Dene Wood

Dene Wood is an experienced horticultural professional currently serving as Head Gardener at the National Trust since April 2019. Prior to this role, Dene held the position of Head Gardener at Holkham Estate from April 2013 to April 2019 and also worked as Head of Parks and Gardens at Chatsworth House from September 2011 to April 2013. Dene's educational background includes a Higher National Diploma in Garden Design from the British Academy of Garden Design (June 2021 - March 2022), a Diploma of Education in ILM Leadership and Management Level 3 from the Institute of Leadership & Management (September 2017 - February 2018), and an RHS Advanced Diploma completed in 2015.
