Katy Wade

Katy Wade is an experienced project manager currently overseeing the Blossoms Together Project at the National Trust, focusing on the installation of blossom trees in Birmingham while collaborating with various stakeholders linked to the Birmingham 2022 event. Previously, Katy served as the Schools Programme Coordinator at RIBA, where responsibilities included equipping architects to lead engaging workshops in schools and creating educational resources. Katy's earlier roles include Learning and Community Engagement Officer at Malvern Hills District Council, managing community engagement under a Heritage Lottery Funded project, and Project Coordinator at Sampad South Asian Arts Birmingham, delivering heritage projects related to migrant and South Asian culture. Katy holds a Master's in Heritage Management and a Bachelor's in Ancient History from the University of Birmingham.
