Penelope Hines is a Cultural Heritage Curator at the National Trust since February 2024, following a role as Arts Development Manager and Collection Manager at Guy's & St Thomas' Foundation from September 2020 to February 2024. Concurrently, Penelope serves as a Board Member at the Charles Dickens Museum since July 2021. Previous experience includes curatorial positions at the National Trust from October 2018 to September 2020, and as Assistant Curator for Japan and Designs at the Victoria and Albert Museum from August 2015 to October 2018. Penelope also held the position of Curator of Applied Art (maternity cover) at Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales and completed an Interpretation Internship at The Fine Art Society. Earlier roles include cataloguing the Plaster Casts Collection at Glasgow School of Art and working as a PR Intern at Clarion Events. Penelope holds an MSc in Museum Studies from the University of Glasgow and a Bachelor's degree in History of Art from The University of York.
