Kenneth Hsu

Kenneth Hsu has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kenneth began their career as a Corporate Financial Officer at Marine Midland Bank from 1983 to 1986. Kenneth then founded Hexawave, Inc. in 1991, where they served as a Founder, Member of Board, and Vice President until 1998. During their time at Hexawave, they raised $80M in funding and established global sales networks. From 1999 to 2008, Hsu was the President of Sumtel Communications, Inc., where they led teams in bidding for telecom and broadcasting projects and advised on municipal wireless projects in various countries. Following their role at Sumtel Communications, they joined the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology as a Part-Time Professor from 2011 to 2014. In the same year, they also became an Adjunct Professor of Finance and Executive Director at the Center of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at National Tsing Hua University. Additionally, Hsu worked as a Senior Consultant at Atelligent Global Consulting from 2011 to 2018, focusing on strategic growth planning, organizational behavior transformation, and executive development and coaching. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Partner in Investor Relationship at Transpacific Venture Funds.

Kenneth Hsu obtained their MBA in Management from The Wharton School from 1981 to 1983. Prior to that, from 1973 to 1977, they earned their BSE in Materials Sciences and Engineering from National Tsing Hua University. In 2016, they also obtained a certification from MIT Experimental Learning by completing the MIT Fintech: Future Commerce online course.
