Chloe Ferguson

NUS USI President at National Union of Students (UK)

Chloe Ferguson has a diverse and extensive work experience. Chloe currently serves as the NUS USI President at the National Union of Students (UK), where they represent the interests of over 130,000 students and apprentices in Northern Ireland. In this role, Chloe is responsible for public affairs coordination, campaign strategy development, and advocacy efforts.

Chloe also holds roles at The Climate Coalition as Vice Chair (Northern Ireland) and Co-Chairperson of the Media and Communications Working Group (Northern Ireland). At NUS Charity, Chloe serves as the Chairperson of the Board, overseeing various projects and services related to union development, regulatory protection, and collective buying power for student unions.

Outside of the education sector, Chloe has worked at Belfast City Council as the Youth Climate Commissioner and Chair of the Youth Working Group. Chloe also served as the Vice President of Campaigns and Engagement in the Queen's University Belfast Students' Union.

Chloe's commitment to sustainability and environmentalism is evident through their role as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Students Organising for Sustainability. Chloe has also been actively involved in the debate community, serving as the Head Judge at Competitive Debate Intervarsity and as a Coach for the Northern Ireland Team at the World Schools Debating Championship.

Chloe Ferguson completed their A-levels in English Literature, Religious Studies, and History at Glenlola Collegiate Grammar School from 2010 to 2017. Subsequently, they pursued a degree in English and Social Anthropology at Queen's University Belfast from 2017 to 2020.
