Tom McHugh

Tom McHugh has extensive work experience in the transportation industry. Tom currently works at Blue Goose Consulting LLC where they serve as a member. In 2020, they also worked as a consultant to National Van Lines Inc.

Prior to their current role, Tom worked at National Van Lines Inc for several years. Tom held various positions such as Director of Business Administration & Transportation Economics, Director of Business Development, and Director of Rates. In these roles, they spearheaded the introduction of Tableau Software for data analysis, managed the call center and appointment scheduling services, negotiated contracts with GSA, implemented processes to handle government business, ensured quality control, oversaw tariff maintenance and filing exceptions with the Department of Transportation, and communicated tariff changes to the agent network and employees.

Tom has a strong background in business administration, transportation economics, and government contracts within the transportation industry.

Tom McHugh earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Elmhurst University, where they studied from 1975 to 1978. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Phoenix and completed the program from 1996 to 2000. In addition to their academic qualifications, Tom McHugh also holds a certification as a Certified Moving Consultant (CMC).
