Noah Chast

Broadcaster / Sideline Reporter at National Volleyball Association (NVA)

Noah Chast began their work experience as a Videographer at Penn State Athletics in September 2016. Noah covered all athletics at Penn State and exclusively covered football in the fall of 2018. Noah then served as a Host for Penn State Sports Night from January 2018 to June 2020. Noah also worked as a Sports Anchor for PSN News from January 2019 to June 2020.

Continuing their career in sports media, Chast interned as a Creative Services Intern at Walt Disney Television from June 2019 to June 2020. Noah also served as an Anchor for Centre County Report from January 2020 to June 2020.

In 2020, Chast took on multiple roles including Summer Intern at Must Love Sports from June 2020 to December 2020 and Podcast/YouTube Host for "I Don't Noah" from August 2020 to present.

In 2021, Chast became a Volleyball Coach for North Pacific Juniors, a role they still hold.

In 2022, Chast joined the National Volleyball Association (NVA) as an On Air Talent/Digital Media Reporter, and they currently hold this position.

Finally, they became a Sports Anchor for KTVZ/NPG of Oregon, Inc. in January 2023. In this role, Chast anchors daily sports segments, covers local and regional high school, NCAA, and professional sports content, and reports on local sports features. Noah also reports and anchors the weekly Big Playback football and basketball shows.

Noah Chast attended Penn State University from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a degree in Broadcast Journalism with a focus on Communication and Media Studies. During their time at Penn State, they received certification from the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism in December 2019. Prior to attending Penn State, Noah Chast attended William Tennent High School, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
