Anya Marino

Director, LGBTQI at National Women's Law Center

Anya Marino serves as the Director of the LGBTQI Equality Clinic at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, instructing and supervising clinical students in LGBTQ+ civil rights cases and legislative projects. Concurrently, Anya holds the position of Director of LGBTQI Equality at the National Women's Law Center, where responsibilities include overseeing litigation, legislative advocacy, and representing clients in high-stakes civil rights cases. Prior roles include Clinical Instructor at Harvard Law School and Deputy Legal Director at the ACLU of Florida, with a focus on voting rights and LGBTQ rights. Anya has extensive legal experience, having authored numerous legal memoranda and briefs across a range of amendments and acts. Educational credentials include a J.D. from the University of Maryland and a B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University.
