Lori List

Lori List, M.Ed., has extensive experience in education, serving as the Secretary and Building Representative for the Southfield Education Association since March 2008, where responsibilities included advocating for labor union members and participating in legislative efforts. Lori has been a Fellow and Teacher Consultant with the National Writing Project since 2003 and has worked as a Middle School English and Social Studies Teacher at Southfield Public Schools since 1991, with roles including coaching various extracurricular activities and advising multiple programs. In addition to teaching, Lori has coordinated Title I Remediation and Gifted and Talented programs and held positions such as English Curriculum Coordinator at Thompson K-8 International Academy and Curriculum Consultant for Oakland Schools. Lori's educational achievements include a Master of Education from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Siena Heights University, along with International Baccalaureate training.
