Born in Tehran, Iran and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Mana grew up immersed in her family’s migration experience. Prior to law school, she worked with migrant and low-wage workers throughout Pennsylvania at Justice at Work PA. During her time at Temple Law, she continued pursuing her passion for immigrants’ rights through various roles, including at law school clinics, ACLU PA and the Florence Project. Mana first joined NSC as a law student intern to work with Afghan asylum-seekers and other evacuees resettled in Philadelphia. In August 2022, she joined NSC full-time as an attorney under the Immigrant Justice Corps (IJC) fellowship program, where she continues her work with Afghan asylum-seekers and other similar client populations.
