Corín McCarthy

Industrial Designer at Native Design

Corín McCarthy began their work experience in 2012 as a Shop Assistant at The Town Barber. In 2014, they had a work experience role at Paper Dog Ltd. From 2014 to 2016, Corín worked as a Gymnastics Coach at Sevenoaks Gymnastics Club. In 2017, they took on the role of Social Secretary of AU Gymnastics at Loughborough University. In 2019, Corín worked as an Interim Product Designer at Aqualisa Products Limited, where they gained experience in multidimensional design and CAD modeling. From 2014 to 2019, they also worked part-time as a Waitress at The White Hart Pub. In 2020, they became a Product Designer at Realise Product Design. Currently, Corín is working as an Industrial Designer at Native Design since December 2022.

Corín McCarthy attended Tonbridge Grammar School for Girls from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained their General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSEs). Corín then enrolled at Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys from 2013 to 2015 to pursue their A-levels in Maths, Art, and Biology. Following this, they studied at Arts University Bournemouth from 2015 to 2016, earning a Foundation degree in Art/Art Studies, General. Finally, from 2016 to 2020, Corín attended Loughborough University, where they pursued an undergraduate degree in Industrial and Product Design. In December 2020, they obtained a certification in Small Business Photography for Non-Photographers from LinkedIn.
