Job description

Natron Energy is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician. Working hours are 4, 10's Monday- Thursday (5am-5pm). This individual will support production and ramp up of its battery production line in Holland, Michigan. Critical activities include preventative maintenance, responding to emergencies and assisting with electrical work. Tenacious commitment to continuous improvement with thoughtful, collaborative and disciplined execution is a must. This individual will train on 1st shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Preventative Maintenance work order completion on time.
  • Respond to emergency break downs.
  • Assist with low voltage electrical work <50V (Sensor alignments, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of a wide range of Industrial equipment including liquid processing, powder processing, filling, coating, dryers, laser welding, packaging, and test equipment.
  • Power transmission knowledge and experience including but not limited to conveyors, motors, belts, gearboxes, bearings, linear actuator, electric motors, pneumatic, and servos.
  • Blueprint reading.
  • Basic Hand tool usage.
  • Use of shop tools and machinery including welding.
  • Basic computer skills using Microsoft office and maintenance software.

Experience & Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 Plus years’ experience in an industrial setting focused on manufacturing equipment repair.
  • Journeyman Card Holder with the USDOL in Machine Repair or Millwright a plus.
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • PLC experience (AB or Mitsubishi) a plus.
  • Self-Starter that can work independently.
  • Dependable team member.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good documentation skills.
  • Customer Service focused on building relationships.
  • Maintains a clean work environment.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Logistics:

  • Current need is on 1st shift. Monday-Thursday (5am-5pm).

Safety Requirements:

  • Routinely exposed to hazardous environments including classified zones, high noise levels, dust, extreme temperatures, and humidity.
  • Must follow all safety procedures including, but not limited to, wearing PPE including masks, respirators (limited), bump caps, gowning requirements, and safety glasses for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work from heights including, but not limited to ladders, stairs, lifts, and mezzanines.
  • 95% Indoor work.
