Miguel Alatzar

Miguel Alatzar has a decade of work experience in the software engineering industry. In 2010, they began their career as a Physics Intern at UCSD. Miguel then worked as a MoonKAM Operations at Sally Ride Science in 2011. In 2012, they became a Software Engineer at Chromologic. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Software Developer at End Point Corporation and developed RFID inventory management software for American Apparel and software to harvest digital library metadata via OAI-PMH for the Digital Public Library of America. In 2015, they Co-Founded and served as CTO of StyleWhere, an in-store shopping cart abandonment analytics company that was later acquired by Smartrac. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Developer at SMARTRAC N.V. During this period, they also served as Co-Founder and CTO of ROG Security, Inc. In 2019, Miguel became a Senior Software Design Engineer at Mattermost. Miguel is currently employed as a Staff Software Engineer at Natrx.

Miguel Alatzar obtained a Bachelor's degree in Astrophysics from UC San Diego between 2002 and 2005.
