Daniel Yates

Dan Yates is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in technology and sustainability. As the CEO and Chairman of Dandelion Energy since March 2018, Dan leads a home geothermal company focused on clean energy solutions. Additionally, Dan owns The Spice House, a prominent US spice retailer, and serves as a board member for the Natural Resources Defense Council, advocating for environmental protection. With a history of impactful leadership as the former CEO of Opower and Edusoft, Dan has also invested in and advised multiple startups, including Seat Geek and Udemy. Dan holds an AB in Computer Science from Harvard University.
