Rebecca Hammer

Rebecca Hammer is a Senior Attorney & Deputy Director of Federal Water Policy at Natural Resources Defense Council since September 2009. Rebecca has a strong background in environmental law, with previous experience as a Legal Intern at US EPA and Oceana. Rebecca holds a J.D. in Environmental Law from Harvard Law School and an A.B. in Latin American Studies from Harvard University. Rebecca is dedicated to advocating for safe and sufficient water for all Americans, with a special focus on federal water policy, water infrastructure, green infrastructure/stormwater runoff pollution, and climate change preparedness.
