Neil Hindle

Chief Technical Officer at Nova Pangaea Technologies (NPT)

Neil Hindle is the current Chief Technical Officer at Nova Pangaea Technologies (NPT). Neil has a long and accomplished history in the engineering and production field, with a focus on sustainable processes.

Neil started their career as a project manager at ICI in 2001. Neil then moved on to Croda in 2006, where they became the Project Technical Manager for the Ethylene Oxide continuation project. This project entailed relocating 4500 product/customer combinations. In 2012, Neil moved to Centre for Process Innovation where they became the Senior Project Manager for sustainable processes, including industrial biotechnology and smart chemistry. In this role, Neil managed the InterSusAl project, which used novel fermentation technology to produce a sustainable algae oil from biodiesel.

In 2014, Neil left Centre for Process Innovation to join Applied Graphene Materials as their Engineering Director. In this role, Neil was responsible for heading up the production, engineering and process development group. Neil remained with Applied Graphene Materials until 2020 when they joined NPT as their Chief Technical Officer.

Neil Hindle completed their MBA at The Open University and their PhD in Chemistry at the University of Oxford. Neil is a Fellow Chartered Chemist of the Royal Society of Chemistry and has a certification from the Royal Society of Chemistry.

They are on a team with and Neil Guilder - CFO. Neil Hindle reports to Sarah Ellerby, CEO.
