Richard Hopkins

Richard Hopkins is an experienced academic and researcher specializing in entomology, currently serving as the Head of Department for Agriculture, Health & Environment at the Natural Resources Institute since September 2017. Additionally, Richard holds the position of Professor of Behavioural Entomology at the Natural Resource Institute, University of Greenwich since April 2014 and was previously a Reader in the same field. Richard's research career began at SLU from 1994 to 2014. Richard obtained a PhD in Entomology from The University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Applied Zoology from the University of Leeds.
