Derek Porto

Derek Porto has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Derek started their career as a Sales Support Intern at Innerspace Design, Inc in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Product Marketing Intern at Rockwell Automation. Derek then joined Rockwell Automation as an Engineer in Training and later became an Associate Engineer in Field Support from 2015 to 2018. From 2018 to 2021, Derek worked as an Engineer, Global Solutions at Rockwell Automation. In 2021, they joined Green Thumb Industries (GTI) as a Controls Engineer and worked until 2022. Currently, they are employed at Nature's Fynd as an Automation Engineer.

Derek Porto completed their high school education at St. Edward Central Catholic High School from 2007 to 2011, earning a diploma. Derek then pursued their undergraduate studies at Case Western Reserve University from 2011 to 2015, majoring in Chemical Engineering.
