Nicolas Maher

Nicolas Maher has a diverse work experience in the science and research field. Nicolas currently holds the position of Senior Research Associate at Nature's Fynd since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineer at Geltor from May 2022 to August 2022. Nicolas also served as a Bioprocess Associate at Culture Biosciences from February 2022 to April 2022, where they conducted various inoculations, troubleshooting, and preparations for microbial growth.

Before joining Culture Biosciences, they worked at Full Cycle, starting as a Laboratory Technician from June 2020 to January 2021. Nicolas then transitioned to being a Fermentation Research Associate from February 2021 to February 2022, overseeing important tasks such as equipment commissioning and conducting research on anaerobic digestion.

Prior to their roles at Full Cycle, Nicolas worked as a Bus Operator at The University of Georgia from July 2018 to May 2020. Nicolas also gained experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UGA New Materials Institute from August 2019 to February 2020, performing data recording and assisting in optimization of polymer dispersions.

Additionally, Nicolas worked as a Research and Development Intern at Chemence Medical, Inc. from May 2019 to August 2019. Nicolas successfully diagnosed measurement issues and presented research results, leading to new projects.

Lastly, they served as a Student Supervisor at Catering Kitchen - UGA Food Service from January 2017 to July 2018, where they managed employees and ensured efficient production and safety protocols.
