Mark Nelson

Mark Nelson has over 25 years of work experience, specializing in engineering and maintenance management. Their most recent role was as the Sr. Director of Engineering, Maintenance & Security at Nature's Way, where they have been since February 2019. Prior to that, they were the Engineering & Maintenance Manager at Bemis Company, Inc. from January 2017 to February 2019. Mark also held various managerial positions at The Vollrath Company, Apache Stainless Equipment Corporation, Teel Plastics, Inc., and Sub-Zero Freezer Co. Mark began their career as a Sales Engineer at L.L Richards Machinery in 1994.

Mark Nelson has a diverse education history. Mark attended Beaver Dam High School from 1985 to 1987. After that, they enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1987 to 1992. In more recent times, Mark pursued further education at MSI, where they earned certifications in Lean methodology. Mark obtained a High Performance Teams Certification as well as a Green Belt Certification, both being completed in 2022.
