Andreas Huhmer

Andreas Huhmer currently serves as the Senior Director of Scientific Affairs and Alliance Management at Nautilus Biotechnology, beginning in October 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing collaborations for the single-molecule analysis platform and demonstrating its application in proteomics. Previously, from 2000 to 2023, Andreas held various senior director roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, focusing on omics technologies, business development, and driving growth in proteomics and metabolomics markets. Experience at Thermo Fisher includes leadership in new product categories, strategic initiatives, and integration opportunities. Prior to this, positions included Program Manager at Thermo Electron, where Andreas led product development efforts and obtained multiple patents, and a Member of Technical Staff at Texas Instruments, developing miniature biosensors. Academia includes a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from The University of Kansas and an analytical chemistry diploma from Freie Universität Berlin, along with executive training at The Wharton School.
