Ken Kuhn

Ken Kuhn is the Vice President of Reagent & Platform Development at Nautilus Biotechnology. Ken has been with the company since July 2017, and in their current role, they are responsible for leading a team of scientists and engineers to develop extensible technology architecture and initiate early stage NPI and consumable manufacturing units. Prior to joining Nautilus, Ken was the Vice President of Systems Integration, Product Development & Operations at Encodia, Inc., where they were responsible for establishing foundational systems and vendors to operate and scale business functions, staffing and building primary R&D and SGA departments, generating compensation and career ladder models, contributing to venture and grant fundraising and annual budgeting, managing multiple HQ relocations and logistics, establishing product development principles and philosophy, and mobilizing, motivating and leading matrixed teams of scientists and engineers. Under Ken's leadership, Encodia has become a transformative enabler of proteomic applications, empowering the future of proteomics.

Ken Kuhn has a diploma in Executive Perspective for Scientists and Engineers (EPSE) from UC San Diego. Ken also has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbiology and Immunology from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Drexel University.
