Jared Murphy

Jared Murphy is an experienced product engineer and entrepreneur with a strong focus on Web3 technology and digital solutions. Currently working at WeR1 since February 2024, Jared is involved in developing a next-generation music streaming ecosystem. As the founder and a Web3 explorer/engineer at Nautilus Digital Solutions since February 2021, Jared has been dedicated to exploring cryptocurrency, DeFi, and Web3 while supporting SMEs in integrating with these technologies. Previous roles include serving as a senior full stack engineer at Moralis Web3, where contributions enhanced the user experience for Web3 developers, and as a backend engineer/software architect at Sensor Networks, where Jared advanced IoT architecture. Additional experience spans positions with JOBJACK, allaboutXpert Technologies, OneDayOnly.co.za, and Click Cultivation focusing on various aspects of software development and digital marketing. Jared's technical journey began with contributions to high-voltage testing and machine vision systems as a LabVIEW developer at CheckIT Industrial Systems. Education includes studies at the University of Cape Town and Kearsney College.
