Human Resources Generalist

NAV Fund Administration Group is seeking a Human Resources Generalist, to drive significant growth of our unique and fast-growing Fund Administration business.

The Opportunity:

We are hiring a Human Resources Generalist, reporting to the Human Resources Director.  This position will be responsible for the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including recruiting and onboarding, payroll, benefits, performance management, policies and practices and building programs to support our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition -
    • Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings and build creative sourcing strategies.
    • Onboard candidates and provide an outstanding new hire experience ensuring candidates are trained in accordance with compliance and employment policies.
  • Payroll, benefits, compensation, performance management: Performs tasks required to administer and execute human resource functions including but not limited to payroll, benefits, compensation, performance and talent management; recognition, and training and development.
  • Compliance - Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Client Service – work effectively with all employee levels and provide exceptional HR services.
  • Culture - Promote a positive and open work environment where employees are engaged with open communication.
  • Programs - Partner with HR Director and leadership in developing workplace initiatives to support our growing company.
  • HR Best Practices - Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience in at least 3 HR disciplines: talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, compensation, performance management, employment policies and compliance.
  • 1+ years of experience supporting financial services or professional services organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven record of approachability and confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
  • HR certification is a plus.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional problem solving and communication skills.
